I’d like to ask for prayers.

Sir Corbin is 6 and a half months old now, and at his 6 month check up, his doctor heard a heart murmur in his heart. He told us it was so faint that it probably isn’t anything to be worried about, and would most likely go away on it’s own, but he wanted test done to be sure it wasn’t anything more serious. We got sent for tests today, where they discovered that Corbin has a pretty large hole in his heart, and also a tiny one, which is what has been causing his slow weight gain, since his heart and lungs have to work twice as hard because of how the blood flows through the hole. There’s also a problem with his heart valves.

He’ll need surgery to fix the holes and valves sometime before he turns 3, but the cardiologist said he’d like to do it by the time Corbin is a year and a half old. I’ve heard of holes healing themselves, and I’d like to ask my followers to pray for those holes to close, so Corbin doesn’t need surgery. If you don’t pray, just shoot some words into the sky anyway. I just can’t stand the thought of someone cutting open my little baby.

Oh man, do I want one of these. They’re pretty cheap, and I’d love to be able to make more pureed soups, without having to dump the pot out into a blender or food processor. *sigh*

personalityless asked: About forty minutes ago I nearly fainted at my friend Chantell’s house. We were in the bathroom putting toner in Mellissa’s hair (my friend’s a hairdresser) and we were all a little stoned. I was sitting up against the cupboard and I noticed I was starting to feel as if I was going to faint. The room was darker than usual and I was extremely dizzy. After dealing with this for a few minutes, the dizziness only getting worse, I finally told Chantell that I was really high. Or at least I thought that’s what it was.

She asked me if I was about to faint and I told her I thought I was. Suddenly I couldn’t see her so I reached for her. I was fucking terrified. I couldn’t see anything. I was momentarily blind and I told her that instantly. Mellissa and Chantell were freaking out and they set me down on the bathroom floor. I couldn’t see for a few seconds after sitting down. Finally Chantell helped me up and brought me to the chair in the living room. She got me a cup of water but by then I was feeling perfectly normal, only slightly baked.

Chantell kept asking if I was okay and I told her it was no big deal, it was over now. But she insisted I call the hospital because she said my pupils were dilated when I told her I couldn’t see, worse than what you’d see on people who have taken ecstasy or MDMA. Also I was covered in an inch of sweat (disgusting, I know; I apologize). I have been researching this and it could be caused by a number of things (low blood pressure, dehydration, ect.)

This has happened once before. I consumed two drinks of whiskey and Coca-cola and took about 2 hoots out of a pipe. I actually fainted this time and sat in the bathroom for an hour or so. This was in February, 2011.

I was just wondering if this has happened to you or someone else you know. My mother and Chantell are worried this could be serious. Do I need to go to a doctor?

I would definitely see a doctor about it. I’d suggest that if it only seems to happen when you’re stoned, or drinking, then stay away from that for awhile, and see if it goes away. 
Fainting or blacking out under any circumstance can be dangerous, not only for you, but for the people around you. What if you’re driving and it happens? That’s why I’m not allowed to drive anymore. I’d have someone take you to a med center, or try to get into your primary care physician as soon as possible. I hope everything turns out okay for you. Good luck!

 What I use to check my credit. This site is totally free, and only does soft inquiries, so checking your credit score does not affect your score. You can check it as often as you like. It gives you lots of information, even telling you the reasons your score is what it is. I wouldn’t ever use any other site.
